Weight Loss for Life
We all know the weight problem in America is a top health priority for our nation and for each individual who is struggling with this challenge. Unfortunately, the information on diets and weight loss is extremely confusing. The good news is that there is a very clear path to losing weight in a predictable and extremely healthy way, that not only results in less pounds and inches, but also a greater level of health and vitality.
The weight loss programs that I use with patients are much more than just a diet. They are comprehensive weight loss systems, which include all the key pieces that are essential to a successful and healthy outcome. The essential elements to any healthy weight loss program are: 1) a very healthy diet, based primarily on the foods we were designed to eat, 2) a daily tracking system, 3) lifestyle recommendations that may include specific nutrients, sleep pattern changes, water intake, and of course physical activity, 4) follow up appointments, which include regular tracking of your progress, providing you with the necessary expertise, support, accountability and encouragement to ensure your success.
The really good news is that for many who come to me to lose weight they are in store for many more benefits than just less pounds and inches. It is very common for patients to experience greater levels of energy, better sleep quality, less pain and inflammation, lower blood pressure and lower cholesterol (if theirs is high at the outset), chronic digestive complaints disappear and many other potential changes. The reason for this kind of wellness transformation is that the diet I use is the foundation to a lifetime of wellness, vitality and longevity.
Losing weight is one thing, keeping it off is another, which is a key to a lifetime of health and wellness. An important focus to our weight loss program is an educational system and follow-up program to ensure you are successful at keeping your weight off for the rest of your life!
Keeping weight off is where most Americans have been unsuccessful. They have lost the weight and then put it back on again and again. It is actually not surprising that this is the most common pattern. The primary reason is that it “looks” like it will be easier to keep the weight off than to lose it in the first place. The truth is, keeping the weight off is actually the greatest challenge and the area where individuals need the most support, follow up, and education.
My “Weight Loss for Life Program”, is designed to ensure your success at keeping the weight off. It has been used by hundreds of health practitioners around the U.S. It includes a patient manual, specific training on how to keep the weight off, and the important follow up visits to ensure that you are successful in this area.
